Job summary

The National University of Singapore’s School of Computing invites applications for an Assistant Director to provide high-level administrative and operational support to the Head of Department, coordinating strategic initiatives, recruitment and planning, educational programmes, and institutional priorities.

The role requires exceptional organizational, communication, data analysis, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required with experience in executive or academic administration.
• Strong governance understanding and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Discretion with confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and organize executive meetings and committees.
• Draft and edit executive communications and reports.
• Act as liaison between the Head’s office and departments and partners.
• Manage inquiries and respond on behalf of the Head.
• Support cross-functional initiatives and track progress.
• Maintain records and perform data analysis for decision-making.
