Job summary

Vans is seeking a Senior Global Supply Planner to lead long-range and seasonal supply planning, ensuring supply availability across global markets. You will partner with product supply, brand, and commercial planning teams, and manage vendor allocations while mitigating risks from demand variations and capacity constraints.

The role requires strong analytical skills, experience with SAP/Oracle/JDA, and a track record of driving process improvements in a global setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (MBA preferred).
• 3-5 years of experience in supply chain management, with background in capacity and production planning.
• Proven experience managing global teams across multiple countries.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
• Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JDA).
• Advanced analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions; experience with Excel, Power BI, Tableau is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a track record of driving process improvements in a global setting.

Responsibilities

• Support long-range planning and align with sourcing strategy and key scenarios.
• Validate forecasts and translate MFP forecast into capacity and material type.
• Provide initial allocation guidance for vendor allocation and align with GTM milestones.
• Understand regional demand and drive seasonal and long-range planning discussions.
• Validate and present supply signals for unified forecasting.
• Improve processes and governance to enhance efficiency and alignment with strategy.
• Maintain seasonal buy plan and optimize global PO placement and buy windows.
• Coordinate information gathering and data setup for smooth buy execution.
• Roll up capacity and production planning updates for regional communication.
• Drive KPI tracking like OTP, calendar execution, and fill rates.
