Job summary

Carousell Group is seeking a full-time, 6-month internship in Corporate Development starting January 2027. The role involves market analysis, evaluating M&A and partnerships, and supporting due diligence and integration efforts.

The team will require building investor-focused models, preparing KPI packs, and collaborating with Finance and BU teams. Fresh graduates or 1+ year experience welcome, with strong Excel/PowerPoint and AI-driven analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Fresh graduates welcome; 1+ year of relevant experience a plus.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentations.
• Strong financial modeling skills and understanding of revenue drivers.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Monitor market trends and competitor strategies.
• Identify and analyze potential M&A and partnership opportunities.
• Support due diligence, post-merger integration, and partnership initiatives.
• Update financial models and build scenario analyses for strategic initiatives.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly investor reports with KPI packs and budgets vs actuals.
• Reconcile data across management and statutory accounts with finance teams.
• Leverage AI tools to automate investor reporting and research tasks.
• Collaborate on corporate development projects to support senior management.
