Job summary

InternSG in Singapore offers an internship opportunity focused on corporate finance and transaction-related research. You will support research across markets, assist in financial analysis, due diligence and the preparation of decks and teasers for potential deals.

The role requires strong analytical abilities, solid Excel/PowerPoint/Word skills, and the ability to work from our Singapore office. Open to undergrad or postgrad students with good academic records, including Mandarin as a plus.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Engineering, CS or analytical discipline.
• Strong academic performance, preferably high standing.
• Understanding of financial statements and core finance concepts.
• Strong research and analytical abilities.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple deadlines.
• Experience in finance, accounting, consulting advantageous.
• Mandarin-speaking applicants welcome; Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
• Able to work from Singapore office on agreed days.

Responsibilities

• Conduct company, industry and market research to support corporate finance and transaction-related work, including M&A.
• Identify potential buyers, investors, strategic partners and targets.
• Review financial statements, management accounts and business plans.
• Assist with financial analysis, valuation, modelling and comps.
• Prepare investment teasers, pitch decks and transaction materials.
• Assist with due diligence, data-room management and document organisation.
• Prepare meeting notes, project updates and follow-up items.
• Coordinate with clients, investors, lenders and advisers.
• Undertake other analytical, research and administrative tasks.
