The role emphasizes governance, cost control, and profitability in an SME manufacturing setting. You will partner with operations and project teams, drive budgeting, forecasts, and group reporting for the listed parent company, oversee risk and internal controls, and mentor finance teams across locations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CA) preferred.
• 10-15 years of finance experience, including senior leadership roles.
• Experience in SME manufacturing or project-based construction businesses is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, risk management, and compliance with Singapore and Malaysia regulations.
• Proven experience leading and developing finance teams across locations.
• Hands-on cost control, project and factory financial management, and financial governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the finance teams in Singapore and Malaysia.
• Provide clear financial guidance to support business decision-making.
• Track profitability, costs, and overall performance.
• Collaborate with operations and project teams to optimize results.
• Develop KPIs and dashboards for performance monitoring.
• Act as the main finance contact with the parent company and present financial results clearly.
• Explain business context behind numbers and address provisions, losses, and margins.
• Strengthen internal controls and ensure regulatory compliance across Singapore and Malaysia.
• Lead audits and address audit findings promptly.
• Prepare annual budgets and regular forecasts; monitor project costs, margins, and overheads.
• Manage cash flow, receivables, payables, and inventory; optimize working capital.
• Oversee financial performance of construction projects and capital expenditures.
• Standardize processes and drive continuous improvement in finance operations.
