Lidl & Kaufland Asia Pte. Limited in Singapore seeks a Finance Business Partner to drive planning, forecasting and reporting across the region.

Translate data into actionable insights to inform ROI and growth, partnering with Country Management, IT, Facilities and Procurement to align budgets. The role emphasizes strategic sourcing, process governance and digital transitions, with a focus on data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Recognised University degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• CPA qualification is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Controlling or FPA.
• Advanced ERP & Reporting; experience with SAP, BI Tools.
• Experience as Anaplan model builder is a plus.
• Comfort with Google Workspace for collaborative modelling; hands-on Python/Appscript for data maintenance.
• Hands-on experience using Gemini AI tools to optimise workflows and data modelling.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines with accurate results.
• Independent, proactive and well organized with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to simplify complex financial concepts.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate regional financial planning and forecasting cycles.
• Produce monthly reporting packages and leadership review decks.
• Analyze P&L performance focusing on Actual vs Budget variance.
• Prepare quarterly postmortem reviews for Merchandising and Country Management.
