Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a seasoned finance leader to oversee accounting, financial reporting, and audit functions, ensuring compliant and timely financial information. The role includes month-end/year-end closures, tax matters, and collaboration with auditors and senior management.

You will drive financial governance, analyze trading performance and cash flow, and coordinate with multiple departments to support strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Lead external and statutory audits, coordinate with auditors, resolve audit findings, and ensure compliance with statutory/regulatory requirements.
• Oversee accounting and reconciliation of trade receivables, payables, prepayments and other trade-related balances.
• Strengthen financial controls and processes across trade capture, valuation, inventory, settlement, and financial reporting, while identifying and mitigating financial risks.
• Provide financial analysis and insights on trading performance, working capital, cash flow, and other key financial matters to support management decision-making.
• Oversee relevant tax compliance and accounting matters, including corporate tax, GST/VAT, withholding tax, and other applicable requirements.
• Support management in strengthening the overall financial governance and control framework.
• Work closely with Trading, Operations, Risk, Treasury, auditors, tax advisors, and senior management on financial and business matters.
• Undertake other finance, accounting, and audit-related responsibilities as assigned by management.
