Job summary

Private Advertiser seeks a senior finance leader to oversee finance, accounting, treasury, tax, and reporting across Singapore and Malaysia. You will steer budgeting, planning, and cash management while ensuring SGX and statutory compliance, internal controls, and robust governance.

The role partners with regional leaders to drive performance and sustainable growth. You will lead external audits, develop the finance team, and provide strategic insights to support Board decisions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Professional qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent.
• At least 12 years of relevant finance experience, including senior leadership experience.
• Prior SGX-listed company experience is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of SFRS, SGX Listing Rules, Companies Act, taxation, and corporate governance.
• Experience overseeing multi-entity or regional finance operations is preferred.
• Proven leadership experience managing finance teams and working with senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and commercial acumen.
• Experience in consumer-facing industries such as hospitality, lifestyle, entertainment, retail, or F&B will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all finance, accounting, treasury, tax, and financial reporting functions across the Group.
• Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with SFRS and SGX requirements.
• Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes for the Group.
• Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and working capital across multiple entities.
• Ensure compliance with SGX Listing Rules, statutory requirements, taxation, and corporate governance standards across the Group.
• Oversee external audits and liaise with auditors, regulators, bankers, and professional advisors in Singapore and Malaysia.
• Strengthen internal controls, financial policies, and risk management frameworks across the Group.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic business decisions and regional growth initiatives.
• Prepare reports and presentations for the Board of Directors and senior management.
• Partner closely with business leaders in Singapore and Malaysia to drive financial performance and operational excellence.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the Group finance team.
