Job summary

Private Advertiser in Singapore is seeking a finance professional to independently prepare annual budgets, financial forecasts and management reports for Management review, while monitoring budget utilisation and analysing variances.

You will develop and review AR policies, collection procedures and cash flow forecasts, coordinate annual audits, tax matters and statutory compliance, and prepare financial documentation for AGM and Board meetings.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience in accounting, budgeting, financial reporting or financial operations.
• Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and accounts receivable management.
• Good understanding of accounting standards, internal controls and statutory compliance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to provide practical recommendations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, financial reporting tools, and AI Tools.

Responsibilities

• Independently prepare annual budgets, financial forecasts and management reports for Management review.
• Monitor and control budget utilisation, analyse financial variances and recommend corrective actions or alternative budget plans.
• Develop, review and recommend accounts receivable (AR) policies, collection procedures and strategies to minimise overdue balances.
• Analyse financial performance, identify trends and provide recommendations to improve operational and financial efficiency.
• Prepare and review cash flow forecasts, monitor financial commitments and recommend effective cash management strategies.
• Coordinate annual audits, tax matters and statutory compliance requirements, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
• Oversee the preparation of financial and administrative documentation for AGM, Board meetings and other corporate matters.
• Review and enhance financial policies, SOPs and internal controls.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend improvements to financial and administrative processes.
• Guide junior team members, review assigned work and ensure accuracy and timely completion.
