Job summary

National University of Singapore's Development Office seeks an experienced Assistant Manager/Manager, Events Management to lead donor-, alumni-, and stakeholder-facing events that support fundraising and engagement priorities.

You will work with business owners from the outset to define why an event should take place, who it should engage, what experience it should create and how success will be measured—then lead teams and partners to deliver it exceptionally.

Qualifications

• Recognised bachelor’s degree with 3–5 years of relevant experience for Assistant Manager, or 5–6 years for Manager.
• Experience developing event concepts and managing donor-facing, multi-stakeholder events is highly desirable.
• Ability to translate business objectives into engaging event concepts and audience journeys.
• Strong budgeting, procurement and vendor management capabilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead portfolio of donor-, alumni-, and stakeholder-facing events to support fundraising and engagement priorities.
• Define event purpose, audience, and success metrics with business owners at project start.
• Develop event strategies and creative concepts aligned with priorities and available resources.
• Oversee end-to-end planning across diverse events, including campaigns, lectures, receptions, and VIP visits.
• Coordinate with Communications to shape event positioning, invitations, programs, and content.
• Manage on-site delivery, venue, catering, A/V, logistics, and risk management.
• Review outcomes against objectives and translate insights into improved playbooks and processes.
