Job summary

Stripe is seeking a Data Account Executive to drive growth for Data Products. You will grow strategic deals by collaborating with core sales, marketing, product marketing, and product teams to develop deep product knowledge and industry insights.

You will lead in-depth product discussions with existing and prospective customers, build and execute go-to-market strategies, and act as a trusted advisor across multiple stakeholders while pursuing ambitious revenue targets.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of sales or prospecting experience at a technology company.
• Owning a direct sales quota with experience closing new business or expansion.
• Ability to build strong collaborative relationships with business partners.
• Thrives in an unstructured, fast-moving environment.
• Self-starter with minimal supervision and a hands-on mentality.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong presentation skills for in-person multi-stakeholder meetings.
• Proven ability to lead complex negotiations with bespoke terms.
• Ability to understand complex technical requirements and craft cross-stakeholder solutions.
• Experience selling in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Build deep, resilient relationships across client organizations and articulate value across functions.
• Develop and execute formal Strategic Account Plans mapping the client organization and growth opportunities.
• Communicate proactively with consistent value-added engagements and manage expectations as a trusted advisor.
• Drive revenue to meet or exceed targets and KPIs.
• Lead upsell conversations of Stripe Data products for existing and prospective customers.
• Drive strategic thought leadership within assigned territory to ensure user success and revenue growth.
• Deeply understand the sales process and competitive landscape for Stripe products, including software, hardware and payments.
• Serve as an internal and customer-facing expert on Stripe and its specialized products.
• Synthesize and relay customer feedback to inform Stripe’s product roadmap.
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing and User Operations to amplify growth trajectory.
