Job summary

Databricks Inc. is seeking a Solutions Architect to lead the technical strategy for customers, owning architecture discussions and driving platform adoption.

You will serve as a trusted advisor to customer technical leads and architects, helping position Databricks as the foundation of clients' data and AI strategy. You will develop a technical specialization and orchestrate cross-functional resources to deliver comprehensive solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in solutions architecture or senior technical role.
• Live coding, debugging, and solution-building in Python and SQL.
• Deep distributed data systems architecture with scalable pipelines and lakehouse patterns.
• Proven ability to lead architecture discussions with senior stakeholders.
• Experience with production deployments on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical strategy from discovery to deployment.
• Lead architecture discussions spanning data engineering, ML/AI, and analytics.
• Advise customer architects and directors as a trusted technical advisor.
• Drive technical wins and define domain archetypes for the team.
• Coordinate cross-functional resources to deliver complex solutions.
