Job summary

Linesight is seeking a Lead Cost Manager to oversee cost control across large-scale construction projects. The role emphasizes leadership, client communication, and rigorous cost documentation to support decisions and project outcomes.

You will drive valuations, publish cost reports, and mentor a team to deliver high-quality, client-focused results. Interviews may be in-person or virtual with video required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as cost manager or QS on large-scale construction projects.
• Progressive leadership experience and ability to mentor teams.
• Strong communication skills for client and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Participate in tender and bid documentation, analysis, and reporting.
• Oversee project spend with valuations and cost reports; communicate variations.
• Support settlement of disputes and loss/expense claims with transparency.
• Assist nimble project management with clear cost documentation and timely updates.
• Mentor and develop the team to achieve high performance and client value.
• Lead the team to deliver high-quality work and value to clients.
