Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline; professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent) strongly preferred.
• Minimum 5-6 years’ experience in finance/accounting, preferably in manufacturing sector.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, and closing processes.
• Hands-on experience in inventory accounting and cost analysis is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly closing activities, particularly in inventory accounting, reconciling inventory sub-ledgers with GL and roll up standard costs quarterly.
• Carry out stock take with operation team on a quarterly basis.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
• Prepare management reports and financial analysis to support decision-making.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies.
• Drive process improvements and implement best practices in financial operations and reporting.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning activities.
