Job summary

Search Index Pte Ltd, a well-known MNC in Singapore, is seeking a Costing Accountant/Costing Analyst with at least 5 years of cost accounting experience in manufacturing. You will roll up daily costing, support BOM and inventory, and handle month-end/quarter-end/year-end closings with internal controls and audits.

The role requires a diploma or degree in accountancy and is offered with a competitive salary and bonus. Transport benefits via MRT stations are provided.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accountancy with at least 5 years of costs accounting experience.
• Prior experience in manufacturing company is essential.

Responsibilities

• Roll up Daily Costing system, prepare and analyse Daily Report.
• Support Production to follow-up BOM, inventory and production usage and to resolve ad-hoc issues that will affect the accuracy of costing by products.
• Liaise with all departments especially production staff on costing issues.
• Prepare inventory aging listing.
• Handles month end closing (check input data, run costing system, check output reports, long term inventory and generate journal vouchers).
• Handles month end, quarter end and year end closing reporting; involves internal controls and statutory audit.
• Support annual budgeting and periodic forecasting exercises; assist in system implementation/upgrade.
• Support Sales and production members for requested costing analysis by product.
