Job summary

PRECISE DEVELOPMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking a Contracts/Procurement professional in Singapore to prepare and vet tender documents, draft contract clauses, evaluate tenders, and award sub-contracts for construction and procurement projects.

You will support contract administration, handle variations, claims, and final accounts, and assist in cost control and procurement strategy. Preference given to applicants with HDB BTO or warehouse project experience.

Qualifications

• Experience drafting contracts/specification clauses.
• Experience evaluating contractor claims for variation works and extension of time.
• Experience in costing and procurement related matters.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and vet tender documents including drafting contracts/specification clauses, evaluating and providing recommendations for tenders and awarding construction and procurement sub-contracts.
• Evaluate submissions and preparation on contract administration matters such as assessing contractor’s claims for variation works, extension of time, loss and expenses, final account and handling of contractual disputes.
• Assist Contracts Manager in contractual and costing matters such as main contract interim progress claims, progress reports, variation orders, etc.
• Ensure compliance with appropriate tendering and procurement procedures.
• Assist in recommending and implementing innovative solutions and best practices on procurement and contract strategy and related functions.
• Assist in project cost control and objective preparation.
• Drafting of projects correspondences pertaining to site issues
