Job summary

Kerry Consulting Pte Ltd is partnering with an established Singapore-headquartered enterprise to appoint an accomplished communications leader who will shape its strategic communications agenda and strengthen corporate positioning.

In this role you will oversee corporate communications, media relations, public affairs and reputation management, guide crisis and issues management, and advise senior leadership on strategic communication matters.

As the organisation continues to strengthen its capabilities and enhance its public engagement, there is now an exciting opportunity for an accomplished communications leader to shape its strategic communications agenda and strengthen its corporate positioning.

Responsibilities

In this critical leadership role, you will shape and drive the organisation’s strategic communications agenda, overseeing corporate communications, media relations, public affairs and reputation management. You will play a pivotal role in crisis communications and issues management, providing strategic counsel to senior leadership and managing communications during sensitive and high-profile situations. You will develop proactive communications strategies to strengthen the organisation’s public profile, build strong relationships with the media, government authorities and other key stakeholders, and drive innovation across digital and traditional communications channels. You will also lead and develop a sizeable team, fostering greater agility, collaboration and effectiveness across the function.

Requirements

You are an accomplished corporate communications professional with substantial experience in external communications, media relations and crisis communications, ideally gained within a large, consumer-facing or highly regulated organisation. You bring a proven track record in managing complex and sensitive issues, strong stakeholder management capabilities, sound judgement and the confidence to advise senior leadership in high-pressure situations. A strategic yet hands‑on leader, you have demonstrated the ability to lead teams, introduce fresh perspectives and strengthen communications effectiveness. Candidates currently in senior deputy leadership positions with the readiness to step up will also be considered.
