Job summary

CITIBANK SINGAPORE LIMITED is seeking an experienced Corporate Communications leader to shape Citi’s external and internal narrative in Singapore. You will develop strategic plans, manage media relations, and oversee social media and internal communications campaigns.

The role requires 10–12 years in corporate communications, strong media ties, crisis experience, and a background in financial services. You will work with ESPA and executives to uphold governance, risk, and brand standards.

Qualifications

• 10-12 years’ working experience in corporate communications or related field.
• Strong relationships with media, particularly financial and business journalists.
• Proven ability in managing crisis communications.
• Experience in creating and managing social media content.
• Able to provide creative solutions to achieve results.
• Relevant experience in financial services is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in business management, communications or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic communication plans for internal and external audiences.
• Formulate communications strategies for media relations, issues management, events and internal campaigns.
• Develop social media strategy to build Citi’s profile in Singapore.
• Draft speeches and memos for senior management.
• Ensure regulatory and compliance messages are integrated in communications.
• Coordinate with external agencies for campaigns and liaise with government authorities on governance.
• Monitor and manage budgets for specific briefs.
• Function as a key media contact for Citi Singapore and drive media opportunities.
• Provide crisis communications advisory and draft materials (press releases, pitches, Q&A, talking points).
• Plan and manage media analysis and reporting.
• Develop internal communications strategies and manage town halls and intranet messaging.
• Oversee internal platforms to disseminate messages and enhance employee engagement.
• Lead sponsorships and events planning and execution.
• Ensure full compliance with global communications protocols and governance requirements.
