Job summary

Celestica is seeking an procurement professional to manage regional/global commodities, drive price/value determinations and supplier relations. You will quote quarterly, develop bid costs, and support customer commitments with data-driven insights.

The role requires 1–3 years in semiconductors or related fields, strong analytical ability, and excellent communication skills. A technical engineering degree is preferred, with proficiency in MS Office and Access for analysis.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years in semiconductor industry or related field.
• Engineering degree or equivalent technical education preferred.
• Strong understanding of market conditions, pricing, and supply/demand trends.
• Solid analytical skills and data-driven decision making.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintains regional or global responsibility for a specific commodity or group of commodities for price/value determination, sourcing, negotiations, terms & conditions and supplier relationship development.
• Quotes and negotiates all products and services quarterly.
• Develops cost of customer bids within response time objectives.
• Supports bid activities by interacting with site teams to compile and deliver material commitments to the customer.
• Participates in Commodity Council or Customer Materials Commitment processes by providing material pricing and data analysis.
• Contributes to quarterly business reviews with top suppliers and reviews customer BOMs for quarterly commits.
• Coordinates supplier communications and tracks performance issues.
