Job summary

CIMB Singapore is seeking a seasoned New Business Development professional to proactively identify, prospect, and acquire new commercial banking clients within the Middle Market, Corporate and Specialty Industries.

You will cross-sell cash management, treasury, and trade finance solutions, manage a high deposit and revenue client portfolio, and lead end-to-end sales cycles from discovery to post-implementation review.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years in commercial banking, cash management sales, trade finance, or treasury management sales.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Expert knowledge of cash management products and services (e.g., ACH, Wires, Online Banking).
• Strong understanding of corporate financial statements and working capital concepts.

Responsibilities

• Identify, prospect, and acquire new commercial banking clients in target market segments.
• Acquire and manage a portfolio of high deposits/revenue corporate customers.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet goals.
• Cross-sell Transaction Banking, cash management, and treasury solutions.
• Serve as primary cash management consultant for portfolio clients.
• Lead end-to-end sales cycle from discovery to post-implementation follow-up.
• Collaborate with internal product and implementation teams to design solutions (ACH, Wires, Merchant Services, API).
• Ensure KYC/AML compliance and timely documentation.
