Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC in Singapore seeks an experienced Strategic Cloud Engineer for Security and Compliance to guide customers through secure cloud journeys. You will design secure cloud architectures and advise on compliant deployments using the company's Cloud Platform.

Work with Product teams to improve cloud products, engaging CIOs and CISOs, helping clients migrate, build, and maintain applications while applying relevant security controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of experience architecting or developing secure cloud solutions.
• Experience designing cloud enterprise solutions and supporting customer projects to completion.
• Experience coding in one or more general purpose languages (e.g., Python, Java, Go, C or C++) including data structures, algorithms, and software design.

Responsibilities

• Provide deep domain expertise in cloud security and compliance and be a trusted technical advisor to customers and solve complex cloud security and compliance challenges.
• Work with customers to design and develop cloud security architectures and solutions to meet and exceed their security requirements, through in-depth discussions, strategic presentations/recommendations, and implementation in the company Cloud environment.
• Create and deliver best practices recommendations, tutorials, blog articles, sample code, and technical presentations adapting to different levels of key business and technical stakeholders.
• Manage disparate senior stakeholders within customer environments to deliver consensus and drive positive customer outcomes on the the company Cloud platform.
• Travel regularly (up to 30%, although we also frequently use video conferencing) cross-region for meetings, technical reviews, and delivery activities.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience securing the company Cloud or other cloud environments through implementation.
• Experience implementing FedRAMP, PCI or HIPAA security requirements in a cloud environment.
• Experience understanding attacks and mitigation methods, in two or more of the following: network protocols and secure network design, web application security, security assessments and pen testing, authentication and access control, applied cryptography and security protocols, security monitoring and intrusion detection, incident response and forensics, development of security tools, automation or frameworks.
• Understanding of Cloud security principles.
• Ability to communicate in Japanese, Korean or Mandarin, and English fluently to support client relationship management in this region.
