Job summary

GIA Singapore seeks a Chief Executive to balance the needs of diverse stakeholders and advance members' interests. The role partners with insurer CEOs, government bodies, and partners to drive strategy and governance while protecting integrity.

Responsibilities include leading planning, budgeting, governance, and multi-functional oversight. A senior leader with board engagement skills will steer sector development and international relations.

Qualifications

• Senior leader with enterprise-level policy and business outcomes responsibility.
• Experience engaging Board and C-suite effectively.
• Oversee multiple functions including finance, people, PR, technology, security, legal, data protection, procurement, business continuity.
• Regulated sectors expertise and regulatory advocacy.
• Design and implement sector-wide technology platforms for data exchange and analytics.
• Experience working with volunteers in governance bodies.

Responsibilities

• Lead corporate planning and governance, drive risk management policies.
• Develop annual workplans and budgets for general meetings.
• Engage member CEs and rally insurers to a common position.
• Represent sector needs at external platforms and organisations.
• Develop capabilities and talent initiatives across the insurance sector.
• Oversee operations including finance, people, PR, technology, security, legal, data protection, procurement, business continuity.
