Job summary

We expect diploma holders with 2–3 years of sales experience (marine industry a plus) and strong communication skills. The role requires professional presentation and collaboration with internal teams to fulfill customer needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in any field.
• 2–3 years of sales experience in any industry or 1–2 years sales experience in the Marine industry.
• Able to conduct and present oneself professionally.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for building good relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong customer service and sales skill to generate sales.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and nurturing a good relationship with existing customers.
• Identify and develop new sales opportunities and business leads.
• Arrange and conduct meetings with existing and prospective customers to explore new opportunities.
• Effectively negotiate pricing, delivery terms, specifications, and contractual agreements.
• Gather, analyse, and update customer and market information to support business growth.
• Represent the company at trade exhibitions and industry events.
• Monitor and anticipate forthcoming product developments, industry trends, and market opportunities.
• Develop a clear understanding of customers’ businesses, operational needs, and requirements.
• Respond promptly to customer enquiries and provide accurate, effective solutions.
• Consult and collaborate with direct reports and relevant internal stakeholders when necessary.
• Prepare and submit timely reports on sales activities, pipeline developments, and business progress.
• Contribute to achieving sales targets and overall business objectives while maintaining high professional standards.
