Job summary

Public Service Division in Singapore is seeking a Deputy/Assistant Manager for Bus Service Contract Management to oversee and optimise bus service operations across Singapore’s public transport network.

You will manage contracts with operators, monitor performance, ensure compliance, process documentation and payments, and support service implementation after tender awards, with emphasis on continuous improvement through automation.

• Knowledge in contract management principles and practices.
• Meticulous attention to detail with excellent organisational capabilities.
• Strong multitasking abilities, adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Proven ability to work both independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively as a team player.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Previous experience in the bus industry or transport sector will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and optimise bus service operations across Singapore’s public transport network.
• Manage bus service contracts and other contracts with operators, coordinating with LTA divisions and stakeholders.
• Proactively monitor performance and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
• Review and report operator performance, process essential documentation and payments.
• Support seamless implementation of bus services after tender awards; seek automation opportunities.
