Job summary

The National Environment Agency (NEA) in Singapore invites applications for a role in the Budget and Resource Planning Department within the Finance Division. You will plan, secure and manage resources to achieve NEA’s mission and support critical public services.

Ideal candidates have a degree in Business/Accounting and 3+ years of relevant experience, with strong MS Office skills and a proven ability to work across government departments to secure funding and drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Accountancy or related discipline.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with Government Finance policies.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end annual budget process including planning, review, monitoring and reporting.
• Evaluate funding proposals and advise on project funding and budgets.
• Partner Departments to secure project funding and budgets with internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to leverage technology and develop capabilities to improve work processes.
• Policy and process reviews to strengthen governance and drive improvements.
