Job summary

rxilient health pte. ltd. seeks a Business Development Manager to drive strategic BD initiatives across emerging markets, leading end-to-end opportunity assessment, market analysis, and deal execution.

You will coordinate cross-functional efforts, manage partnerships, and shape portfolio strategy. The role requires bilingual English and Chinese communication, plus 3+ years in consulting, deal advisory, or BD roles within life sciences.

Qualifications

• Fully bilingual with strong verbal and written communication in English and Chinese.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in consulting, investment banking, deal advisory/legal, or commercial business development roles.
• Educational background in Science, Pharmacy, Medicine, or related disciplines.
• Open-minded and adaptable, with willingness to embrace new technologies, including AI-enabled solutions.
• Self-driven, proactive, and capable of influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
• Strong critical thinking, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Prior experience in pharmaceutical product in-licensing is an advantage.
• MBA and/or CFA qualification will be considered an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development projects from initial opportunity assessment through execution, including market research, business case development, proposal preparation, stakeholder alignment, partner negotiations, due diligence support, and agreement review/redlining.
• Contribute to development of BD and portfolio strategies through market analyses and identification of growth opportunities.
• Support internal communication and reporting related to BD projects, including updates for OA system and monthly management reviews.
• Support alliance management activities and local partnership initiatives to strengthen collaborations.
• Serve as project manager coordinating documentation, records on shared platforms, and governance for BD initiatives.
