Job summary

Emirates NBD Bank (P.J.S.C) in Singapore seeks a client coverage support role for corporate and institutional clients, focusing on credit assessment, client servicing, and due diligence to strengthen financial crime controls.

The role requires coordinating with RM, Head CIB, and Portfolio Management to maintain portfolio quality, ensure facility delivery, and manage documentation and drawdown processes across client engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or related field from a reputable university.
• Financial qualifications, knowledge of accounting & finance/law.
• Min. 3 years of Corporate Banking experience with knowledge of Trade Finance, Treasury, DCM.
• Knowledge of credit analysis, legal documentation settlement, credit administration.
• Achievement oriented, self-motivated; resourceful and decisive.

Responsibilities

• Understand client needs and ensure that appropriate facilities are offered to the client.
• Analyse creditworthiness of clients, identify and assess key risks, and structure facilities to mitigate risks.
• Prepare clear Facility Applications and annual/interim reviews, including financial-spread analysis and covenant checks.
• Prepare proposals for ad-hoc transactions and marketing clearances in line with Bank policies.
• Support development of client relationships, including accompanying RMs on client visits.
• Ensure client documentation is duly executed and perfected.
• Raising accounts on Early Alert and preparing updates.
• Handle excesses, seek approvals, and follow up with clients until regularization.
• Ensure credit files are updated; assist RM in transaction execution and drawdown requests.
• Coordinate execution of legal documentation with counsel and other lenders as necessary.
• Coordinate transactional approvals and monitoring with RM; work with product, risk, and compliance teams.
• Be escalation point for client relationships and manage financial crime risk (KYC/AML/Sanctions).
• Timely KYC and trigger reviews; respond to alerts from ongoing monitoring.
