Job summary

You will manage supplier relationships, evaluate bids, negotiate terms, issue purchase orders, and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining quality and safety standards in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in ERP systems and Excel is required, along with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of purchasing experience.
• Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced and safety-sensitive environment.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and organized.

Responsibilities

• Purchase raw materials, chemicals, packaging materials, equipment, spare parts, and other operational supplies based on approved purchase requests
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to achieve competitive pricing, suitable payment terms, quality, and timely delivery
• Prepare, issue, and follow up on purchase orders
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
• Ensure purchased materials meet the required technical, quality, and safety specifications
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve delivery delays, non-conformities, shortages, and quality concerns
• Maintain proper purchasing records, quotations, purchase orders, and contracts
• Conduct periodic supplier evaluations and maintain the approved supplier list
• Monitor market pricing, lead times, and potential supply risks
