Job summary

IMDA seeks a Manager to lead Research, Innovation and Enterprise efforts in AI and Trust Technologies, driving cross-domain research and research-to-business strategies. You will orchestrate international partnerships with organisations like WEF, GPAI and NIST, and collaborate with local and international research communities to shape Singapore's digital future.

The role requires a Bachelor in CS/CE, 5–8 years leading technology teams, and strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

At least 5–8 years of experience managing technology teams in research and/or engineering.
Familiarity with the RIE ecosystem.
Strong presentation and engagement skills.

Responsibilities

Develop research to business strategies in AI and Trust Technologies aligned to national interests.
Prepare RIE funding initiatives and drive research programmes.
Strategise to create impactful collaborations with IHLs and RIs in AI and Trust Technologies.
Represent Singapore/IMDA in research forums and standards setting committees.
Lead efforts to translate research findings into viable business opportunities.
Drive international collaborations and monitor global AI/Trust tech developments.
