Job summary

PALO IT Group in Singapore is seeking a seasoned IT Business Analyst to drive requirements from business users and stakeholders across digital product initiatives. You will elicit, document, and prioritize needs, map processes, and craft user stories within an Agile delivery team.

Qualifications

Think and work systemically, connecting business, technical, and organisational dimensions to ensure analysis drives meaningful outcomes
Hands-on experience writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and managing product backlogs in Agile environments
Proficiency with business analysis and delivery tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Visio, or other process mapping tools
Practical experience using AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot) to enhance business analysis activities
Experience working across the full software development lifecycle using Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

Lead requirement discovery workshops and design sprints to elicit and shape business and technical requirements.
Gather, analyse, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements with business users, product owners, SMEs, and developers.
Analyze and re-engineer business processes by mapping workflows and identifying improvement opportunities.
Create and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, product backlogs, and functional specifications.
Partner with Product Owners to prioritise features based on business value and delivery objectives.
Work with Developers, QA, DevOps, and Designers to ensure successful implementation.
Leverage AI-powered tools to improve business analysis workflows.
Validate AI-generated artefacts for accuracy and compliance.
Build process maps, workflows, mock-ups, or prototypes to facilitate stakeholder alignment.
Engage with clients and stakeholders to manage expectations.
