The role requires coordinating with external auditors and tax authorities to ensure regulatory compliance under GAAP/IFRS. Strong technical accounting skills and attention to detail are essential.

Qualificações

• Experience handling AP/AR, payroll, and GL for a mid-sized business.
• Solid grasp of GAAP or IFRS accounting standards.
• Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements.
• Ability to lead month-end and year-end close processes.
• Familiarity with audits and coordination with tax authorities.

Responsabilidades

• Daily Operations: manage AP, AR, payroll processing, and GL entries.
• Financial Reporting: prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
• Month/Year-End Close: lead close schedules, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: assist in budgets, tracking expenses, variances.
• Compliance & Audits: ensure adherence to GAAP/IFRS; coordinate with auditors and tax authorities.
