The role emphasizes general ledger accuracy, budget monitoring, and clear communication of variances to support management decision-making. With at least 3 years of relevant experience and proficiency in MS Excel, you will assist audits and contribute to cost accounting and financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Accountancy/ACCA or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience including General Ledger.
• Proficient in MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Compiles and analyses financial data to prepare journal entries and record business transactions.
• Prepares profit and loss statements, monthly closing reports, and cost accounting summaries.
• Performs general ledger account reconciliations with detailed line items and supporting documentation.
• Reviews and analyzes budgets and actual expenditures.
• Recommends appropriate budget levels and ensures adherence to expenditure controls.
• Analyses and communicates trends and variances in revenue, expenses, and balance sheet accounts.
• Supports internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and clarification.
