Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Lead Stowage Planning professional to drive safe, efficient vessel stowage across Intra Asia services from our Singapore operations. You will optimise capacity, cargo intake, crane activity and asset use while ensuring compliance and positive customer outcomes.

Lead a team, partner with Ocean Fulfilment, Deployment and Network groups, and build a high-performance environment focused on continuous improvement and stakeholder satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience leading stowage or vessel planning teams.
• Ability to optimise capacity and crane productivity in intra-Asia routes.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management across functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead team performance and deliver safe, optimised stowage plans.
• Monitor vessel capacity, intake and utilisation with cross-functional partners.
• Collaborate with regional operations and network teams to improve service delivery.
• Identify operational risks early and coordinate mitigations.
• Manage escalations and ensure timely information flow to leadership.
• Foster an engaging environment and develop team capability.
• Plan resources, rosters and leave for effective deployment.
