Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Store Manager to oversee the overall operations of a leading beauty and cosmetics retail store. The ideal candidate is a strong people leader with proven experience managing large retail teams, driving sales performance, and delivering outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

1. Store Operations & Sales Performance
   • Oversee daily store operations to achieve sales targets, profitability, and business objectives.
   • Monitor sales performance and KPIs, implementing action plans to maximise revenue and productivity.
   • Analyse sales trends, store performance, and competitors' promotional activities to identify growth opportunities.
   • Monitor store expenses and profitability, including profit and loss performance.
   • Lead by example on the sales floor to drive sales and deliver excellent customer experiences.
2. Team Leadership & Development
   • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of at least 20 retail staff to achieve store objectives.
   • Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention of store employees.
   • Conduct regular team briefings, performance reviews, and coaching sessions to improve individual and team performance.
   • Plan staff rosters according to store traffic and business needs.
   • Foster a positive team culture while ensuring compliance with grooming standards, company policies, and store procedures.
3. Customer Experience & Relationship Management
   • Ensure consistently high standards of customer service throughout the store.
   • Build strong customer relationships and drive customer loyalty and membership recruitment.
   • Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally and effectively.
   • Ensure the team consistently delivers service excellence in line with established customer service standards.
4. Merchandising & Inventory Management
   • Maintain excellent store presentation, product displays, and visual merchandising standards.
   • Ensure shelves are replenished and testers, fixtures, and price labels are properly maintained.
   • Oversee stocktaking, inventory accuracy, stock replenishment, and loss prevention.
   • Coordinate with relevant internal teams to resolve stock-related issues.
5. Cash Management & Compliance
   • Ensure proper cash handling, till operations, and daily cash reconciliation procedures.
   • Maintain accurate store records and ensure compliance with company policies and audit requirements.
   • Implement operational procedures and follow up on action plans to maintain store standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in retail management, preferably within the beauty, cosmetics, or premium retail industry.
• Proven experience managing a team of at least 20 staff.
• Strong track record in achieving sales targets and driving store performance.
• Solid knowledge of store operations, inventory management, merchandising, and customer service.
• Excellent leadership, communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse sales performance and implement effective business strategies.
