Job summary
A-IT Software Services Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks an Infrastructure Backup and Recovery Management specialist to lead IBM Storage Protect deployments and related backup solutions. You will perform billable engagements, install/implement Storage Protect, and provide remote and onsite support with 2-4 years of hands-on experience.
Strong problem-solving, analytical abilities, and excellent communication are essential as you collaborate with local and global teams and adapt to evolving backup
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of hands-on experience in backup and recovery management.
- Expert knowledge of IBM Storage Protect on Windows and UNIX.
- Experience with IBM Storage Protect for databases and mail systems.
- Knowledge of tape libraries and LTO tape drives.
- Ability to provide remote and onsite support.
- Strong problem determination and analytical skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform billable services engagements including installation/implementation of IBM Storage Protect.
- Execute SOP for BAU tasks and ensure reliable backup operations.
- Audit backup policies and environments for compliance and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot VM backup failures using NetBackup and Vinchin.
- Collaborate with local and global teams; communicate clearly with clients.
- Willingness to work standby hours on public holidays/weekends if required.
