Job summary

MediaTek Research Lab Inc. in Singapore is seeking an intern for the 2027 Internship program to work on Standard Cell Library design and characterization for leading-edge process nodes.

You will set up design platforms for MediaTek projects, perform timing, power, constraint, noise, and variation modeling for large logic circuits, and contribute to testchip design and data analysis flows. Qualifications

• Basic understanding of IC and circuit design.
• Experience with UNIX/Linux environments and at least one programming language (Python, Perl, Tcl, C/C++).
• Familiarity with foundation IP design (Std-cell, Memory, I/O) and CAD is a plus.
• Knowledge of SPICE simulation and data analysis is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Characterize standard cell libraries for leading-edge nodes (7nm/5nm/4nm/3nm).
• Set up design platforms for MediaTek projects and develop flows for timing, power, constraints, noise, and variation modeling.
• Work on testchip design and Si data analysis flow development, including big data processing and visualization.
