Flex Ltd, via its Axiom team, is seeking a Staff Thermal Engineer in Kallang, Singapore to support die-in-class thermal design and integration across advanced products. The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration with design, EMC, SI and PCB teams, plus supplier engagement and project execution through development cycles.

The position focuses on implementing new thermal technologies for high density power modules and energy storage products, with a strong emphasis on up-to-date standards

Formación

• Experience in thermal design architecture evaluation
• Familiarity with thermal/acoustic estimation against product requirements
• Knowledge of high density power modules and energy storage products would be a plus

Responsabilidades

• Analyze and evaluate thermal design feasibility and architecture.
• Perform thermal/acoustic estimation and verification against product requirements.
• Research and implement thermal technologies for high density power modules and energy storage products.
• Manage supplier relationships and cross-functional communication.
• Lead technical projects and collaborate across internal teams throughout development cycles.
• Coordinate with design teams to resolve trade-offs between thermal and EMC/SI/PCB considerations.

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Staff Thermal Engineer located in Kallang, Singapore.

What a typical day looks like:

Analyze and evaluate the feasibility of thermal design architecture. Perform thermal/acoustic estimation/verification against product requirements. Research/implement new thermal technologies for high density power module and energy storage products. In charge of supplier management and cross functional communication. Manage technical projects and collaborate with other internal teams and to support the execution process throughout development cycle. Collaborate with design team to get resolution/path forward when appropriate trade-offs required between thermal and other disciplines (ie. EMC, SI, PCB design). Keep up to date on appropriate standards and test methodologies. Review of design for thermal strategy and implementation
