Job summary

GOOGLE ASIA PACIFIC PTE. LTD. is seeking a software engineer to set technical direction for the Singapore-based Core team, collaborating with global leaders to deliver safe, scalable content safety solutions across server-side and on-device experiences.

You will influence product experiences, supervise ML projects, and help deploy production-grade infrastructure while aligning with organizational priorities and safety goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in software development.
• 5 years of experience with one or more of: Speech/audio, reinforcement learning, ML infrastructure, or related ML field.
• 5 years of experience with ML design and ML infrastructure (model deployment, evaluation, data processing, debugging, fine tuning).
• 5 years of experience with testing, and launching software products, and 3 years of software design/architecture.

Responsibilities

• Safeguard business-critical products including GenAI-based server-side and on-device experiences.
• Design, build, maintain and scale content safety solutions.
• Work on agentic workflows for threat understanding and content moderation.
• Lead design/implementation of ML solutions, optimize infrastructure, guide data processing strategies.
