Job summary

Google LLC in Singapore is hiring a Software Engineer II for Content Safety. You will design and build scalable systems to protect GenAI experiences and user-generated content, working on classifiers, vector databases, and multimodal models.

Collaborate on production-grade distributed pipelines, model training, evaluation, and deployment, with emphasis on safety, reliability, and high-throughput processing across server and edge environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 1 year of software programming experience in Python, Java, or C++.
• 1 year of experience in a core ML domain (e.g., NLP, vision, or ML infrastructure).
• 1 year of experience with ML infrastructure (training, inference, deployment).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale content safety systems including classifiers, vector databases, and multimodal models.
• Develop and maintain production-grade distributed systems and content processing pipelines.
• Train, evaluate, and productionize models with feedback loops to improve quality.
• Implement agentic workflows and heuristics for deep threat understanding of abuse patterns.
• Drive agile efforts to identify and mitigate novel abuse patterns for safe products.
