Job summary

Rockwell Automation is hiring for Staff/Senior Development Operations Engineers to join the PMB team at the Singapore Campus. You will automate builds, grow CI/CD pipelines, and manage toolchains across software and firmware projects in a globally distributed setting.

Role covers packaging, repository management (ClearCase, Git), and coordination with IT for secure development environments, with opportunities to contribute in a Scrum team as unit test engineer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required in CS/CE or related field.
• 2+ years hands-on software development and configuration management experience.
• Senior/Staff level with potential for higher role based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Automate builds and develop and integrate new tools to support CI/CD and reporting across projects.
• Develop and maintain build scripts to automate builds.
• Manage installation activities, packaging, and repository management (ClearCase, Git).
• Monitor daily build cycles and release Hotfix packages.
• Coordinate effort among multiple sites and DevOps personnel.
• Liaise with IT to comply with infrastructure and security policies.
• Maintain build environment and software releases for product branches.
• Design and test component integration using APIs and scripting.
• Manage software configuration management and deployment for all products.
• Possibility to join a Scrum team as unit test engineer.
• Engage with internal/external stakeholders and work in a global team.
• Adhere to policies and standards (ISO 9000/14000, IP, etc.).
