Job summary

Equinix Asia Pacific PTE. LTD. is seeking engineers for the Product Software team to build next-generation platform services and consistent APIs with microservices. You will collaborate with product engineering, architects, and managers to design scalable solutions for enterprise workflows.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, secure and observable systems, and the use of AI tools to accelerate development and operations across customer, billing, pricing, and commerce domains.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing, building, and operating scalable cloud-native apps using Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript and React.js.
• Experience building microservices, REST APIs, and distributed systems in production.
• Strong understanding of OO design, architectural patterns, and API design.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL, data modeling, and performance tuning.
• Experience with cloud-based SaaS/PaaS at scale and modern DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with Generative AI or AI-assisted development tools.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to technical strategy and execution for modular, event-driven microservices.
• Design reusable frameworks and self-service modules for onboarding, configuration, and lifecycle management.
• Use AI tools to accelerate design, testing, and operations, including AI-assisted code reviews and test generation.
• Collaborate with senior architects and cross-functional teams on architecture across customer, billing, pricing, and commerce.
• Promote API-first development, CI/CD automation, and observability to improve reliability.
