Job summary

Micron Semiconductor Asia Operations Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Staff/Senior Process Development Engineer (PDE-CEM) to advance assembly process development, yield improvement, and data-driven manufacturing optimization.

You will lead cross-functional teams across PDE, Manufacturing, Yield, and Equipment Engineering, apply DOE/SPC/FMEA, and drive NPI readiness while mentoring engineers in structured problem solving.

Qualifications

• PhD/Master/Bachelors in Physics, Materials Science, or related field.
• Strong semiconductor device physics fundamentals and materials science understanding.
• Experience with advanced characterization techniques and reliability investigations.
• Challenge solving using DOE, SPC, RCA and OCAP methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize Process of Record (POR) for assembly and packaging technologies.
• Establish process windows, capability targets, and characterization strategies.
• Lead RCA, FMEA, OCAP, and containment for yield improvement.
• Utilize data analytics to identify process trends and enable predictive monitoring.
• Support NPI and technology transfer with strong first-pass success.
