Job summary

ABER CARE PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a qualified nurse to provide comprehensive care in a welfare home setting, including medication administration, wound care, and monitoring residents' conditions.

You will work AM/PM shifts, collaborate with doctors and caregivers, maintain accurate care plans and records, and uphold infection control standards while supporting residents and their families.

Qualifications

• Registered with Singapore Nursing Board.
• Diploma or Degree in Nursing.
• At least 2 years of welfare home experience.
• Ability to work AM/PM shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care including medication administration, treatments, wound care, and monitoring of residents' conditions.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide appropriate nursing interventions.
• Supervise and support residents in activities of daily living and personal hygiene.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation, care plans, and medical records.
• Monitor vital signs and report abnormalities or changes in residents' conditions.
• Coordinate medical appointments, referrals, and follow-up care with healthcare professionals.
• Work closely with doctors, allied health professionals, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care.
• Ensure compliance with infection control standards and workplace safety.
• Provide health education and emotional support to residents and their families.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous nursing education programmes.
