SEAGATE SINGAPORE INTERNATIONAL HEADQUARTERS PTE. LTD. is seeking a seasoned Mechanical Engineering leader for advanced automation equipment projects.

You will define architecture, guide cross-functional teams, and drive technical decisions across the development lifecycle in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The role requires 8–15+ years in mechanical design or capital equipment, strong communication skills, and willingness to travel to support global initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or related discipline.
• 8–15+ years in advanced mechanical design or capital equipment.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specs, and documentation.
• Strong communication and leadership across cross-functional teams.

Responsabilités

• Define mechanical architecture and roadmaps for complex automation equipment.
• Lead conceptual development and critical trade studies for high-value programs.
• Guide cross-functional teams through requirements, reviews, verification, and deployment decisions.
• Establish mechanical engineering standards, reusable modules, and design checklists.
• Identify, evaluate and mature emerging technologies to improve precision, throughput, safety.
• Mentor senior and junior engineers and participate in program reviews.
