Job summary

AMD Singapore is seeking a detail-oriented engineer to perform system- and board-level failure analysis for data center CPU/GPU products. You will drive tests, collaborate with ASIC/firmware teams, and document root causes and corrective actions for quality improvements.

The role requires strong debugging skills, proficiency with Linux, C/C++, Python, and the ability to communicate findings clearly to a global team. Experience with server hardware is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong in silicon or board level debug or Failure Analysis knowledge.
• Analytical and detail-oriented, fast learner and proactive.
• Proficient reading schematics and datasheets.
• Experience with server/data-center hardware is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform system- and board-level Failure Analysis for data center CPU/GPU products.
• Conduct System-Level Test to duplicate customer-reported failures and isolate causes.
• Collaborate with ASIC/firmware teams for root cause analysis and mitigations.
• Document findings and corrective actions in clear technical reports.
• Serve as local technical expert for test programs and FA methodologies.
