Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. is seeking an experienced Returns Debug/FA specialist in Singapore to drive fault isolation, root-cause analysis, and test coverage improvements across ATE/SLT/OSV domains.

You will collaborate with Device Analysis and Product Engineering teams, provide technical direction for validation strategies, and deliver actionable quality improvements. Strong debugging, scripting, and hardware knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in electrical/electronic engineering or computer engineering.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills with failure analysis experience.
• Experience with silicon debug, electronics and PC/server hardware knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and report on customer returns electrical FA, including ATE/SLT analysis and board-level debug.
• Lead fault isolation and root-cause investigations with cross-functional teams.
• Define test coverage improvements to strengthen product quality and reliability.
• Provide technical direction for validation strategies and translate findings to actions.
• Prepare conclusive final analysis reports for customer communication.
• Own RMA/OSV programs and care for owned product test content and queries.
• Coach junior teammates on technical challenges related to IP or failure categories.
• Collaborate with Device Analysis and Product Engineering across functions.
