Job summary

The Ministry of Social and Family Development invites applications for a role within the Social Support Group's Planning Unit. You will contribute to strategic planning, corporate planning and partnership development to advance the Group's vision.

In this role, you will coordinate cross-divisional workstreams, engage stakeholders across public and private sectors, and support transformational initiatives to better serve low-income and vulnerable groups.

Qualifications

• Experience in strategic and corporate planning within the public sector preferred.
• Ability to synthesize information and identify interdependencies across workstreams.
• Strong written and verbal communication with stakeholder engagement skills.
• Self-motivated with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Public sector experience is advantageous.

What the role is:

The Social Support Group (SSP) of the Ministry of Social and Family Development oversees the planning of operations, coordination and delivery of social services for low-income and vulnerable groups.

What you will be working on:

The Planning Unit within the SSP oversees the Group's strategic planning, corporate planning and strategic partnership development, directing efforts and identifying enablers towards achieving the Group's vision.

• Developing the Group's strategies to empower, support and meet the needs of our low-income and vulnerable groups.
• Identify and build new strategic opportunities and partnerships with key stakeholders in the public, private and social sectors.
• Oversee the Group's transformation efforts and support change management initiatives.

What we are looking for:

• Relevant working experience in strategic and corporate planning
• Able to synthesise information and draw links between different workstreams to understand interdependencies
• Able to write and communicate clearly, with good interpersonal skills in engaging internal and external stakeholders
• Self-driven and able to multi-task
• Public sector experience would be an advantage
