Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Singapore seeks a Manufacturing Test Support engineer to perform failure analysis on NPI and HVM test issues, identifying root causes and coordinating with engineers.

You will act as first point of contact for test-related problems, prioritize critical failures, and drive AI-assisted analysis and data-driven improvements across FA lab and test equipment. A diploma in E&E/CS is required, with Linux experience and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Electrical & Electronics/Computer engineering.
• Experience in SSD test failure analysis would be an advantage.
• Familiar with AI-assisted tools such as Microsoft Copilot or ChatGPT.
• Experience in Linux operating system.
• Able to work on 12-hour rotating shift.
• Good command of English with interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform failure analysis for NPI and HVM test failures and identify root cause/defect location in a timely manner.
• First contact point and first-level failure analysis for manufacturing test-related issues.
• Prioritize & expedite failure analysis for high priority/DDT lots to meet output goals.
• Escalate & work with engineers on issues requiring engineer disposition.
• Communicate shift pass-down on test matters.
• Assist engineering to identify/test failure needs for engineer checkout.
• Support FA improvement initiatives and AI/data analytics projects.
• Utilize AI tools to improve failure analysis efficiency and cycle time.
• Collaborate with equipment engineers to improve test equipment efficiency.
