Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a SSD Test Failure Analysis Technician in Singapore to perform root-cause analysis on NPI and HVM test failures, escalating where needed and supporting FA lab operations.

Qualifications

Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Electrical & Electronics/Computer engineering.
Working experience in SSD test failure analysis would be an advantage.
Basic knowledge or experience with AI-assisted tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar technologies.
Experience in statistical process control system.
Experience working in Linux operating system.
Ability to work on 12-hours rotating shift.
Understand and able to communicate in English with good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Perform failure analysis for NPI and HVM test failures and identify root cause/defect location.
First contact point and first-level failure analysis for manufacturing test-related issues.
Prioritize and expedite failure analysis for high priority lots to meet output goals.
Escalate and work with engineers on issues requiring engineer disposition.
Communicate shift pass-down on test matters.
Support FA engineering evaluations and AI/digital tooling initiatives.
