Job summary

Ivalua is seeking a Sr Technical Project Manager to lead large-scale enterprise software implementations within our Professional Services team. The role focuses on governance, risk management, and delivery excellence across a global client portfolio.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience, PMP or equivalent, and a strong PMO background, with the ability to influence C-level stakeholders and drive data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in managing complex, enterprise-level software implementations or programmes.
• Certified PM with PMP or equivalent is a must.
• Experience leading PMO with governance across a portfolio of projects.
• Broad knowledge of enterprise hardware/software products and integration approaches.
• Ability to influence C-level stakeholders and deliver data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale enterprise software implementations.
• Develop and enforce PMO standards, methodologies, and best practices across the programme.
• Serve as primary liaison for executive-level customer stakeholders and partners.
• Identify and manage programme-level risks, issues and dependencies.
• Provide strategic guidance to Project Managers, Implementation Consultants, and Integration Consultants.
• Monitor programme budget, resources, scope and timelines to ensure on-time delivery within scope.
• Share best practices for change management and product adoption.
• Drive continuous improvement by analysing performance metrics and implementing actions.
• Ensure smooth transition from go-live to post-production support.
• Manage customer expectations with senior stakeholders.

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail‑oriented Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of multiple, large‑scale implementation projects. The ideal candidate is a strong PMO professional with a proven track record of managing complex programmes, enforcing governance, and driving process excellence across a portfolio of projects. You will be responsible for ensuring project consistency, mitigating risks, and delivering on time and on budget.

WHAT YOU WILL DO WITH US

• Lead and manage the end‑to‑end delivery of large‑scale enterprise software implementations, ensuring alignment with programme goals and business objectives.
• Develop and enforce robust PMO standards, methodologies, and best practices across all projects under the programme.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for executive‑level customer stakeholders and manage relationships with systems integrators and partners.
• Proactively identify and manage programme‑level risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Provide strategic guidance and oversight to individual project teams (Project Managers, Implementation Consultants, and Integration Consultants).
• Monitor programme budget, resources, scope and timelines to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
• Provide expertise on best practices, change management, and strategies to drive product adoption.
• Drive continuous improvement by analysing project performance metrics and implementing corrective actions.
• Ensure a smooth transition from project go‑live to post‑production support.
• Manage customer expectations and interact efficiently with Customer executives.

YOUR PROFILE

If you have the below experience and strengths this role could be for you:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in managing complex, enterprise‑level software implementation projects or programmes.
• Ability to manage complex projects with global delivery centres/teams.
• Demonstrated experience in a leadership role with a strong PMO background.
• Expertise in formal project management methodologies (e.g., PMP or equivalent) is a must.
• Broad knowledge of enterprise‑level hardware and software products, operating systems, and methodologies for integrating web‑based products.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence C‑level stakeholders.
• Deliver compelling presentations that effectively convey information to a variety of audiences, including C‑level executives.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on data‑driven decision‑making.
• A Bachelor's (BS) degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field or foreign equivalent is preferred.

Soft Skills

• Expertise in formal project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is a plus.
• A Bachelor's (BS) degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business, or a closely related field or foreign equivalent is preferred.
• Some travel may be necessary (~20%)
• You will go through Ivalua’s certification process to learn the Product.
